Description: Enjoys moist soils in shady swamps. It has large, ribbed, oval leaves. Grows 2 to 6 feet tall with late spring blooms of pale yellow flowers clustered on a stalk. Plant roots are poisonous and were used on tips of arrows by Native American Indians. | |||||
