Description: This carnivorous plant is usually found in sphagnum peat bogs. Its leaves are shaped like pitchers allowing insects to crawl in and then drown in the rain water. The nutrients from the insect are consumed by the plant. Dark red blooms show in summer. Grows 8 to 24 inches tall. | |||||
